The incident occurred on Saturday, May 1, in Tomaszów Bolesławiecki. At around 3:00 p.m., the driver of a Renault Mégane, a 46-year-old resident of Warta Bolesławiecka municipality, lost control of the vehicle, left the road and ended up in a ditch.
As it turned out, the 46-year-old man was completely drunk, with a blood alcohol level of 1.8 per mille. He was arrested.
He now faces up to two years in prison.
