Drivers traveling through Nowogrodziec must be aware of a change in traffic organization in the town. Since December 29, Kościuszki Street and the western and southern parts of the Market Square have been closed to through traffic. In addition, traffic organization has been changed at the intersections of Sienkiewicza, Krótka and Ogrodowa streets, as well as Kolejowa Street with Krótka and Lubańska streets. Drivers should exercise particular caution at these intersections, as a new route for roads with right of way has been designated.

The changes were introduced to improve through traffic and relieve part of the Market Square. Until now, heavy goods vehicles traveled through the center of Nowogrodziec. On numerous occasions, truck drivers traveling from the direction of Lubań had difficulty navigating the narrow streets in the town center. Since December 29, through traffic from the direction of Lubań is to bypass the Market Square and travel along Krótka and Sienkiewicza streets. Since Tuesday, the police have also recorded several minor collisions. Most drivers travel by habit and do not pay attention to road signs.
