Exam dates in 2021:
- May 4–20: matura exam
- May 25–27: eighth-grade exam
Minister Czarnek assured that there would be no coronavirus tests before the exams.
Minister of Education and Science Przemysław Czarnek also announced that the 2022 matura exam would be held in the same way as this year’s exam and without an oral component. However, students would be required to take one subject at the advanced level.
The minister added that in 2023 the matura exam would be conducted based on the examination requirements from the 2018 core curriculum, without a passing threshold for the compulsory examination in an additional subject.
