– In March 2021, officers of the Lower Silesian Customs and Tax Service conducted inspections at premises located in the counties of bolesławiecki, świdnicki, lubański, złotoryjski, polkowicki, legnicki and ząbkowicki, as well as in the cities of Kamienna Góra, Jelenia Góra and Wrocław. In several cases, Customs and Tax Service officers were supported in their activities by officers from County Police Headquarters – reports Agnieszka Rzeźnicka-Gniadek, press spokesperson for the Lower Silesian KAS. – A total of 38 illegal gambling machines and PLN 31,500 in cash were discovered. Three of the seized devices were suitcase-style machines.

The inspected locations were known to the officers, who had carried out activities there repeatedly, and unfortunately each time this ended with the seizure of illegal gambling machines.
All devices and funds discovered by Lower Silesian KAS officers were seized as evidence and transferred to a deposit warehouse.
National Revenue Administration: – We remind you that operating gambling activities in violation of the law carries, in addition to criminal sanctions in the form of a fine, imprisonment of up to 3 years, or both penalties together, a financial penalty of PLN 100,000 for each machine.
