An officer from the Bolesławiec traffic police, together with a soldier from the Military Police, stopped a vehicle for inspection while patrolling roads in Bolesławiec County. The vehicle was travelling at high speed in a built-up area.

KPP:

The 20-year-old driver was travelling at 114 km/h where the speed limit was 50 km/h. The resident of Warta Bolesławiecka municipality was fined and received penalty points for disregarding traffic regulations, and his driving licence was suspended for three months.

The officers add:

We urge drivers to ease off the accelerator. The weather is highly changeable, and the rain and snow that have occurred frequently in recent days may make the road surface slippery, increasing the risk of losing control of the vehicle. Driving too fast is not only a risk of losing your driving licence, but also a serious threat to the safety of all road users.
