The fate of the Museum of Ceramics buildings in Bolesławiec hangs in the balance. As is known, the institution itself will be moved to the building on Zgorzelecka Street, which formerly housed the Powiatowy Zespół Szkół i Placówek Specjalnych.

What will happen to the buildings on Kutuzowa and Mickiewicza?

There are several options. The Bolesławiec District Court is interested in the building housing the Museum of Ceramics’ Department of City History. It is also possible that archival materials will be stored there. Most interestingly, it could also fall into the hands of our eastern neighbours, namely Russia. Mayor Piotr Roman informed the Russian consul that the building on Kutuzowa Street was available. The consul even came to Bolesławiec and announced that he would consider the matter.

What will happen to the building on Mickiewicza is not known for now. We will certainly return to the subject.
