After previously unloading in Poland, the driver—a Belarusian citizen—was traveling with a Ukrainian citizen as part of a two-person crew toward Germany. A distinct smell of alcohol was noticeable from the man.
A breathalyzer test showed nearly 0.52 per mille of alcohol in his breath. The police are conducting further proceedings in the case. The foreign national could face up to two years in prison.
