The incident occurred in Lubomierz (Lwówek County). The driver of a Ford lost control of the vehicle and crossed the road's center line, resulting in a collision with a wall forming part of a small bridge.

After getting out of the vehicle, the driver could barely stand. People at the scene immediately took the keys from the 37-year-old and prevented the man from leaving until the services arrived.
It turned out that the 37-year-old resident of Lubomierz was completely drunk. He had more than 3 per mille of alcohol in his exhaled breath. He now faces up to two years in prison.
