The duty officer of the Bolesławiec Municipal Police received a telephone report about an injured hawk. Municipal Police:
According to the report, the bird was in a forest near Jeleniogórska Street. A patrol was dispatched to the scene and confirmed the report.
The officers add:
The bird hovered several metres above the ground and landed; it most likely had a broken wing and therefore could not fly.
The municipal officers caught the injured bird of prey. The bird was placed in the care of a veterinarian.
