In addition to senior football competitions from the IV league to class B, children’s and youth competitions have also been suspended until 9 April.

DZPN statement:

Pursuant to the amendment to the Regulation of the Council of Ministers of 19 March 2021 on establishing certain restrictions, orders and prohibitions in connection with the outbreak of the epidemic, introduced on 25 March 2021, we inform you that youth competitions are suspended until 9 April 2021.

Below is the provision of the regulation preventing the continued organization of children’s and youth competitions:

“[…]Until 9 April 2021, the operation by entrepreneurs within the meaning of the Act of 6 March 2018 – Entrepreneurs’ Law, and by other entities, of activities related to sport, entertainment and recreation (included in section 93.0 of the Polish Classification of Activities), consisting in organizing sports competition, sports activities and sporting events, or the operation of sports facilities (included in subclass 93.11.Z of the Polish Classification of Activities), shall be permitted provided that all of the following conditions are met:

1) exclusively in the case of professional sport within the meaning of Article 2(143) of Commission Regulation (EU) No 651/2014 of 17 June 2014 declaring certain categories of aid compatible with the internal market in application of Articles 107 and 108 of the Treaty, or athletes receiving a sports scholarship referred to in the Act of 25 June 2010 on Sport (Journal of Laws of 2020, item 1133), or athletes who are members of the national team, Olympic representation or Paralympic representation, or who practice sport as part of a professional league within the meaning of that Act […]”.
