Mateusz Morawiecki, head of the United Right government, during a visit to Wadowice:

Around us—Germany, the Czech Republic—other countries are introducing new restrictions, and we too will present certain new restrictions for the next two weeks by Thursday at the latest, precisely so that we can suppress the virus once again and make it to the point when we will be able to say that herd immunity is prevailing over the virus.

He added that the new restrictions would be introduced for two weeks and would cover the week before Easter and the week after it.

What restrictions could be introduced?

According to information from an RMF FM radio reporter, the restrictions would concern retail (the number of customers). Hairdressing and beauty salons will probably also be closed, as will construction stores and RTV and household-appliance stores.
