All tests as part of the recruitment process for service take place at the Lower Silesian Provincial Police Headquarters in Wrocław. Those interested can prepare for the physical fitness test under the supervision of police instructors.

You are an ideal candidate for service in the Police if you:

  • Have at least a secondary education.
  • Have the physical and mental capacity to serve in armed formations subject to special service discipline, which you are prepared to obey.
  • Provide assurance that you will maintain confidentiality in accordance with the requirements set out in regulations on the protection of classified information.
  • Have a regulated status with regard to military service—this applies to people subject to military qualification. A police officer’s service relationship is established by appointment on the basis of voluntary application for service. Appointment may take place after completion of basic military service or transfer to the reserve. This means that a person unfit for active military service in peacetime (category “D”) who is also a reserve soldier meets these requirements. Therefore, having health category “D” does not disqualify a candidate applying for admission to service in the Police.
  • Have Polish citizenship. Holding dual citizenship does not disqualify a candidate during the recruitment process.
  • Have an impeccable reputation.
  • Have not been convicted by a final court judgment of a criminal offence or a fiscal offence.
  • Enjoy full public rights.
