The favorites in the match were Carbon's players, who had not lost a match in the county league competitions for three years. However, many fans believed that Provita had a great chance of ending Carbon's good run.
The team has excellent players, further strengthened by Zbigniew Szewczyk, well known to all football fans. The match would decide which of the teams would move to the top of the league table.
Once the match began, the fans saw that Provita was in no way inferior to Carbon and, moreover, was beginning to dominate on the pitch minute by minute. Precise passing, intelligent play and composure produced the desired result. After a beautiful match, Provita-Rolpol defeated Car-Bon 5–1.
In the other matches, Policja defeated Reno 5–4, Zehnder lost to Warta 3–0, Ceramika drew with Zbyszko 3–3, and BZM Cieśla lost to Bader 5–7.
