The incident occurred on Tuesday, March 2, in the afternoon. The 35-year-old man threw a granite paving stone at the building of the District Court in Bolesławiec. He smashed three windows. The losses were estimated at PLN 1,200.
The vandal was arrested immediately after the incident. It turned out that he was drunk, with 1.2 parts per thousand of alcohol in his system.
Moreover, the detained 35-year-old is a repeat offender; he had already been convicted of this type of crime. Since he will once again be held responsible for hooligan behaviour, he may face no less than six months in prison.
Interestingly, the man has already been taken to pre-trial detention, where he will spend the next year because... he has a sentence to serve for aggravated robbery.
