The “Senior Online” initiative is launching throughout the Lower Silesian Voivodeship. It is the first idea of its kind in the country: live online training sessions held simultaneously in all district-level units of the voivodeship.

The primary aim of these activities is to establish contact between the Police and seniors and to raise public awareness of situations in which people become victims of crime. This includes explaining the reasons behind such situations and showing how this process can be stopped. The meetings are intended to familiarize seniors with effective methods of preventing negative phenomena such as fraud, theft and robbery, as well as to increase their awareness of their own safety.
What will seniors who take part in the online meeting gain?
Police: “Seniors who have the opportunity to participate in such a preventive meeting will receive information about incidents involving seniors that have occurred in the area. They will also be able to ask questions, which a police officer will answer during or after the meeting.”
When is the first meeting?
