A 24-year-old man from Bolesławiec came to the Bolesławiec District Police Headquarters. As it turned out, the Bolesławiec resident had come to the station because he wanted to do a friend a favor: he reported for police supervision on his behalf. What is more, he used someone else’s identity card.
The duty officer at the District Police Headquarters immediately realized that this was not the person under supervision. The identity card in question was seized, and the helpful 24-year-old was charged with using someone else’s identity document. This is a crime punishable by up to two years in prison.
