The works of eleven artists participating in the International Ceramic and Sculpture Symposium can be viewed from today at the “Długa” Gallery of the Bolesławiec Cultural Centre. This year, the largest group came from Poland—eight artists in total. Three female sculptors represented Finland and the Netherlands.
This year, the artists worked under the theme “encounters”. They could experiment with various materials and use Bolesławiec ceramics that suited them. The artists were hosted by the “Manufaktura” Sp J. Smoleńska & Zwierz Stoneware Factory, the “Bolesławiec” Ceramic Works Ltd. and the “Artistic Ceramics” Artistic Handicrafts Cooperative.
The exhibition can be viewed every day—we recommend visiting in the evening before a good film at the “Forum” cinema.
