Officers from the Bolesławiec SPEED group regularly patrol the roads. When drivers exceed the speed limit in a built-up area by more than 50 km/h, they suspend their driving licences. Bolesławiec District Police Headquarters:

The same happened in this case. Of course, when stopped for inspection, the driver explained to the officers that he was hurrying for a specific reason.

The 30-year-old from Bolesławiec municipality was driving at more than 110 km/h in a built-up area. He lost his driving licence for three months and was also fined and given penalty points.

Bolesławiec police:

We appeal to drivers to ease off the accelerator. Especially in winter, the weather can be highly changeable, and sunshine does not always mean a dry road surface. Therefore, drivers should obey speed limits and adjust their speed to the prevailing conditions. Driving too fast means not only the risk of losing one's driving licence, but also a serious threat to the safety of all road users.
