Those who, for whatever reason, did not make it to the Kraków artist’s concert have plenty to regret. The Forum Hall was packed, and the audience had a wonderful time. Maciej Maleńczuk primarily sang songs from the albums “Psychodancing” and “Psychodancing 2”. There were also hits by the band Püdelsi. The residents of Bolesławiec heard, among others, “Kwas”, “Tango libido”, “Dawną dziewczynę” and “Jestem sam”.
A nod to the somewhat older audience were songs such as “Wakacje z blondynką” by Jonasz Kofta and “Płonąca stodoła” by Czesław Niemen. The song “Niewiele ci mogę dać”, which won the Premieres competition at the 46th National Festival of Polish Song “Opole 2009”, was also very well received.
Maleńczuk showed that he does not take himself too seriously and had a great time on stage: funny gestures, leaning on a cane and joking with the audience. And although Psychodancing is far from Homo Twist, some of the songs were not lacking in rock edge.
The artist performed two encores. First, the audience heard Zbigniew Kurtycz’s major hit “Cicha woda”, followed by the nearly ten-minute “Medley”, consisting, among others, of such hits as: “Pust' wsiegda budiet sołnce", “Les Champs-Elysées”, “Stayin' Alive” (Bee Gees), “Comment Ça Va”, “Nie Płacz Kiedy Odjadę”, “Diana” and “Ramaya”. An excellent ending to the performance.
