On December 18, the reconstruction of municipal roads was completed:
- in Nowogrodziec – on Sosnowa, Grabowa and Osikowa streets;
- in Wykroty – on Parkowa Street;
- in Zagajnik – on Leśna Street.
Local authorities:
Before the project was carried out, the technical condition of the gravel roads made it impossible to use them to their full extent. The spring-to-autumn period was particularly difficult for residents, as the roads were partly impassable. The main reasons for reconstructing these roads were to provide access to residential areas, improve traffic safety for users of the new roads, reduce road maintenance costs and enhance driving comfort.
Officials add:
The investment involved reconstructing three roads measuring 373 m, 659 m and 847 m in length. Each road is 3 m wide. The reconstructed roads provide access to residential buildings. The reconstruction involved laying two asphalt surface layers along the entire length, together with road shoulders, driveways and vertical signage. Road drainage was ensured by shaping the cross slopes of the carriageways and laying concrete curbs along individual sections of the roads.
The total cost was approximately PLN 490,000. The investment was financed from the budget of Gmina Nowogrodziec.
