The incident occurred on Wednesday (18 November) on Kościuszki Street. The PKS Bolesławiec bus stopped at the traffic lights, beneath the tunnel. The driver of a heavy Mercedes was unable to brake on the wet road and hit the rear of the Autosan. Fortunately, no one was injured in the collision. There were no passengers on the bus. The driver was heading to the PKS station and was only due to begin the scheduled route from there. The tanker truck driver was fined PLN 300.
