We are publicizing the matter at the request of our reader. A month ago, a draft of the new train timetable appeared on the PKP Bolesławiec website. “It turns out that this draft is no longer up to date. From December, PKP Intercity is cancelling the direct Zgorzelec–Warsaw–Zgorzelec train service. From 13 December this year, Zgorzelec, Bolesławiec and Legnica will lose their direct connection with Warsaw,” the woman wrote in an email to the editorial office.
Beata Czemerajda from PKP Intercity’s press team neither confirmed nor denied this information. “Work on the new timetable is ongoing. Until we have the final version of the timetable, we will not comment on these reports. We do not want to create unnecessary confusion,” she said.
The final version of the new train timetable is expected to be ready at the beginning of next week. We will return to the matter.
