A tragic road accident occurred on St Nicholas Day, at around 7:15 p.m., on the road between Grzybiany and Koskowice. “The driver of a Fiat Punto probably lost control of the vehicle due to excessive speed, crossed into the opposite lane and then drove onto the shoulder, where he hit a roadside tree,” reports junior inspector Jagoda Ekiert, press officer for the Municipal Police Headquarters in Legnica. “As a result of the incident, a 35-year-old resident of Legnica County died at the scene.”
