The majority of MPs rejected the Senate’s objection and passed a law that takes away financial allowances granted to some medical workers for fighting the coronavirus pandemic. The previous law, which provided allowances for everyone fighting COVID-19, was not published despite being signed by the president.

Among those who voted to reject the Senate’s objection was Bolesławiec MP Szymon Pogoda of Law and Justice. The amendment takes away the allowances previously granted to all medical workers and gives them to only some of them.
