The cost of the project was PLN 431,288.43. The investment was financed 80% from the Local Government Roads Fund, with the remaining amount coming from the budgets of Bolesławiec County and Gromadka Municipality.

The road, made of granite setts, was in poor technical condition. It was one of the worst road sections in Bolesławiec County, and local residents themselves had been seeking its renovation for many years.

The road in Wierzbowa was inconvenient not only for drivers, but above all for residents. A car driving over paving stones is much louder than on an asphalt road.

The reconstruction of the 340-metre section involved building a new road structure and laying a new surface. The verges were reconstructed and roadside ditches cleaned. New vertical and horizontal road markings were also installed.

The road in Wierzbowa is another priority task being carried out by Bolesławiec County this year. Road investments will not only improve the condition of the roads, but above all the safety of residents and road users.
