Bolesławiec District Police Headquarters:

Recruitment for service in the Police is ongoing—applications may be submitted at any time. If you have any questions, call the Human Resources and Training Team: 47 873 32 58.

All recruitment tests are held at the Lower Silesian Provincial Police Headquarters in Wrocław. Applicants can prepare for the physical fitness test under the supervision of police instructors.

Who is the ideal candidate for service in the Police?

  • someone with at least secondary education
  • someone who has the physical and mental capacity to serve in armed formations subject to special service discipline, to which they are prepared to submit
  • someone who guarantees the protection of classified information in accordance with the requirements set out in regulations on the protection of classified information
  • someone whose military service status is regulated—in the case of persons subject to military qualification. A police officer’s service relationship is established by appointment following voluntary application for service. Appointment may take place after completion of basic military service or transfer to the reserve. This means that a person unfit for active military service in peacetime (category D) who is also a reservist meets these conditions. Therefore, having health category D does not disqualify a candidate applying to join the Police
  • someone who holds Polish citizenship. Holding dual citizenship does not disqualify a candidate during the recruitment process
  • someone with an unblemished reputation
  • someone who has not been convicted by a final court judgment of a criminal or fiscal offense
  • someone who enjoys full public rights.
