MOPS:
In addition to financial assistance, we provide material support, as well as psychological and legal assistance.
Social workers help people in quarantine, including by delivering food parcels and taking care of the most urgent needs. Scouts from ZHP, as part of their cooperation and agreement with MOPS, help with shopping, delivering medicines, paying bills, walking the dog and taking out the rubbish. Volunteers from the Volunteer Centre operating at the local Social Welfare Centre are also joining the campaign to help residents.

Municipal Social Welfare Centre in Bolesławiec:
Seniors who decide to stay at home due to the ongoing epidemic can call the nationwide helpline at 22 505 11 11 and report their need for support. The person receiving the report forwards it to the social welfare centre.

- contacts the Senior by telephone to verify the report,
- determines the support service, which is to consist of delivering basic food products and personal hygiene products to the Senior,
- sets the date and method of providing the service.
The Senior covers the cost of the shopping.
