Tuesday’s protest began at 4:00 p.m. Between 350 and 400 people marched through the city. Some finished demonstrating before 6:00 p.m. However, a large group of more than 250 people still had the strength to continue walking. They set off through the city again, heading toward the Market Square. Music played and people chanted, often using obscene language. The protest once again passed near the Millennium Cross, then returned to the Market Square. That is where it ended.

People arranged to meet again on Wednesday at 4:00 p.m. by the cross.

Some of the young protesters complained about chants such as “je*ać PiS” and “Kaczor do wora.” In their opinion, these chants distract attention from the purpose of the demonstration: opposition to the tightening of abortion laws. These laws are nothing less than taking away women’s right to decide about themselves and their bodies.
