Recently, Bolesławiec City Hall announced:
This year, the “Preventive Influenza Vaccination Programme for Residents of the Bolesławiec Municipality Aged 65 and Over” is being implemented as part of the health policy programme. The programme provider was selected through a competition. It was the “Lekarz Domowy” Pieszko General Partnership clinic.
However, as istotne.pl was informed by Krzysztof Pieszko, the owner of the aforementioned facility, there is a problem with vaccines everywhere; pharmacies are running out of them. (Those in Bolesławiec receive a maximum of… five units.) The clinic itself received only a quarter of its order. Further batches are uncertain.
According to K. Pieszko, patients covered by the city’s programme are being vaccinated according to a list. This applies to seniors aged 65–75, as the state fully reimburses the vaccine for older people. In theory, all one needs to do is go to their family doctor to get a prescription.
