During a meeting in Bolesławiec on October 5, well-known radio presenter Marcin Kydryński commented on the fact that a new radio station—357—was being established:
I was surprised by the news that Marek Niedźwiecki, Piotr Kaczkowski and the rest of my close friends, not to say friends, are setting up a new radio station. And I have to say that it genuinely pissed me off. Because we are in no way able to do anything together; most of the people I mentioned were invited to Radio Nowy Świat, but they did not accept. We managed to create this radio station very successfully; we were very open to welcoming our friends.
And he added:
And now it suddenly turns out that they are taking their toys to some other sandbox.
He also emphasized:
This—even in its name, 357—will be a very strong reference to Trójka, in other words, like copy/paste. [...] You know what our society is like. Suddenly it will turn out that someone likes Mann a little more, while someone else likes Niedźwiecki a little more, so they will be jumping down each other’s throats. One community will start turning against the other, and they will come into conflict. And suddenly it will turn out that a conflict has arisen in a place where we should all be together. That infuriated me beyond reason today. I am very sorry; it is, forgive me, so Polish, so Sarmatian.
The radio presenter was a guest at a meeting at the Miejska Biblioteka Publiczna – Centrum Wiedzy in Bolesławiec.
