In June this year, Bolesławiec County decided to reconstruct county road no. 2291D between Warta Bolesławiecka and Wartowice. This is another stage of the road investment in the Warta Bolesławiecka Municipality.
“The co-financing of this project by two local governments—the Bolesławiec County and the Warta Bolesławiecka Municipality—is an excellent example of cooperation undertaken to improve road conditions in Bolesławiec County,” said Tomasz Gabrysiak, the Bolesławiec county governor.
Thanks to the cooperation between the County and the Municipality, it was possible to modernize not only the main roads but also those connecting nearby localities, which is particularly important for residents.
The scope of the works was divided into sections. The first involved replacing drainage channels, laying a new bituminous surface and constructing new access roads. On the second section, the roadway was widened to 5.0 metres, the ditches were cleaned out and a new culvert was installed. A new bituminous surface and access roads to properties were constructed.
