As part of the “Electronic Waste Cleared Out of Homes” campaign, more than 350 items were deposited in the PSZOK (Selective Municipal Waste Collection Point) containers on Staszica Street in Bolesławiec: from the largest items—refrigerators, through televisions, to small electronic devices such as hairdryers, telephones and remote controls.
As a thank-you, participants in the campaign received tree and garden shrub seedlings or seed mixtures for creating a flower meadow.
The event was jointly organized by the Miejski Zakład Gospodarki Komunalnej, the Miejskie Centrum Edukacji Ekologicznej and Projekt Plan-E Bolesławiec.
The purchase of the seedlings and seeds was financed from the budget of the City of Bolesławiec.
