The Bolesławiec–Stare Jaroszowice road is one of several investment projects being carried out by Bolesławiec County this year, and everything indicates that it will soon be completed.

The works included reconstruction of the 3,780-metre road surface, including the installation of a new bituminous surface in two layers: a binder course made of AC 16W and a wearing course made of AC 11S, together with the installation of a reinforcing mesh, earthworks related to restoring ditches, and rebuilding culverts and access roads.

So far, all earthworks, including culverts and shoulder trimming, have been completed; the binder course and reinforcing mesh have been laid. The wearing course is currently being installed, while the shoulders and finishing works are scheduled for next week.

The project is co-financed 80% from the State Special-Purpose Fund—the Local Government Roads Fund—and, for the remaining part, by Bolesławiec County, the Municipality of Bolesławiec and Bolesławiec Commune.

The works are scheduled to be completed by 15 September 2020.
