Saturday’s match was played at a good level, with both teams performing well. The first half was even, and both BKS Bolesławiec and Łużyce Lubań had their chances. In the 8th minute, Marek Majka found himself in a good position, but the shot by our striker was saved by the goalkeeper from Lubań. The ambitious visitors also had their opportunities; the ball even found its way into our net, but the Łużyce striker was offside. Despite several more chances, the score was 0–0 at halftime.
After the change of ends, our players started the match better. In the 48th minute, Michał Kapusz decided to shoot, and the ball deflected to Marek Majka, who put it into the opponents’ net to make it 1–0 for BKS. Despite taking the lead, BKS Bolesławiec did not rest on its laurels and continued attacking. In the 58th minute, Kamil Posadowski, brought on at halftime, produced a fine pass to Marek Majka, and the popular Maja punished Łużyce Lubań for a second time.
We enjoyed the two-goal lead for just one minute, because after a fine shot from outside the penalty area by Damian Buzała, the visitors scored to reduce the deficit. Fortunately, this did not break our momentum, and in the 82nd minute we sealed the match. Once again, Kamil Posadowski showed his quality on the right and played the ball along the ground into the opponents’ penalty area. Marek Majka reacted intelligently, letting the ball run through to Adrian Kulesza. The popular Kaczor confidently put it into the net to make the final score 3–1 for BKS Bolesławiec.
Our team will also play its next match at Spółdzielcza, against Włókniarz Mirsk.
