As part of the renovation, among other things, the road surface structure will be replaced. New pavements and bus bays will be built. New lighting will also be installed. The total value of the investment has been estimated at PLN 9.3 million. Gmina Miejska will receive funding for this purpose from the Regional Operational Programme (almost PLN 4 million 650 thousand). It will cover the remainder from its own budget.
The works are scheduled to begin in December this year (their earlier commencement is prevented by the lack of consent from one of the owners, who does not want to sell 34 sq m of land for this investment). The reconstruction is scheduled for completion at the end of next year.
The renovation will be preceded, among other things, by work on the construction of a sanitary sewer system. The value of this task is PLN 1 million 680 thousand. The contractor is a company from Lubin.
