Before the meeting scheduled for 5:00 p.m. in Bonin Park, Szymon Hołownia walked through Bolesławiec’s Market Square. He was charmed both by the square itself and by Bolesławiec ceramics. He walked from the square to Bonin Park. He was accompanied, among others, by Bolesławiec Mayor Piotr Roman.

At the meeting in Bonin Park on Parkowa Street, Szymon Hołownia talked about the situation in Poland and sharply criticized the rule of Law and Justice. He spoke about the need to establish a new association, a new political force that would free Poland and Poles from the ongoing conflict between PiS and PO.

He also strongly criticized the party practice of making pre-election promises and healthcare policy, which has been unable to heal the healthcare system for 30 years. He pointed to Poland’s weakening role in the European Union and its constant conflicts with EU institutions. He addressed the situation of young people, many of whom are forced to live with their parents for many years. He spoke about the lack of housing, problems with credit burdens, as well as difficulties in the labor market and educational opportunities for Poles.

“There is a shortage of 3 million homes in Poland, and those in power have known this for 30 years, but they have done nothing about it,” Hołownia criticized. “In his exposé, Morawiecki said: we will create the Mieszkanie+ program. How many homes did the government build through this program? A thousand! And there is a shortage of 3 million!” Hołownia concluded, referring to the politician’s promises.

The organizers of the meeting in Bolesławiec are Szymon Hołownia, Ekipa Szymona Dolny Śląsk and Ekipa Szymona. Although the election is already behind us, Szymon Hołownia—as he promised—is not ending his tour. He wants to continue talking with Polish women and men, persuading more people to work together to forge a better future and to build Poland for generations.
