The incident occurred on Monday (August 10) in Bolesławiec’s market square. The reader describes what happened as follows:
My wife and I were having lunch in Bolesławiec’s market square. An anti-pigeon device fell from the windowsill, straight onto our child’s pram. Fortunately, no one was injured. The city might want to check whether they are properly installed.
We reported the incident to Agnieszka Gergont, spokesperson for the Municipal Office, who promised to notify the property managers so they could check whether the remaining spiked deterrents were securely fastened.
Update: 2020-08-12, 9:00
Following our intervention, an inspection of the deterrents’ fastenings has been underway since Wednesday morning.
