A resolution to initiate proceedings to revoke the licence was adopted at the end of May. Telewizja Łużyce Sp. z o.o., based in Bolesławiec, owned the multiplex on which several programmes were broadcast, including “Łużyce”.
At the beginning of August 2019, transmission from the multiplex transmitter in Rząsiny was switched off; later, the transmitters in Jelenia Góra and Chojnów were also switched off.
The company’s president is Jan Cołokidzi, while his two sons are among the members of the supervisory board.

The 610 MHz frequency (channel 38) for the area including, among others, Lubań, Zgorzelec, Bolesławiec, Jelenia Góra, Chojnów and Lubin has returned to the pool of available frequencies. According to the UKE list dated 28 July 2020, a new application to reserve this frequency for digital terrestrial television broadcasting was submitted on 27 May this year.
