At the end of last year, 990 m of pavement in Żeliszów was opened for use. In addition to reconstructing the pavement, the work included widening the carriageway to 5.5 m, and to 6.5 m on bends. Culverts were installed beneath the road, the carriageway drainage elements were renovated, and safety barriers were installed on the bends. The verges were renovated and secured.

The costs of preparing the design and surveying documentation were covered by Powiat Bolesławiecki. The construction work cost approximately PLN 885,000 and was financed by Gmina Bolesławiec.
Now it is time to reconstruct another section of the pavement in Żeliszów.

The construction work includes building embankments and carrying out excavations to form the road crown, laying a new bituminous surface, edging it with concrete kerbs and concrete edging, as well as constructing footway drainage channels from prefabricated elements. The poviat road carriageway will be widened on one side, and access roads will be constructed along the planned pavement.

The work is scheduled for completion by 30 October 2020.
