Since the number of new, confirmed cases of coronavirus infections remains high, and some people are not following the recommendations related to the epidemic, the health minister has announced increased inspections.

As reported by money.pl:

Health Minister Łukasz Szumowski announced that increased inspections in stores will begin this week. The police and sanitary services will check whether staff and customers are following the epidemiological recommendations, including the obligation to cover their mouths and noses in stores.

The minister stressed that covering the mouth and nose is mandatory. The Ministry of Health hopes that inspections and the threat of a fine for not wearing masks will restore common sense and encourage people to follow the epidemiological guidelines. Failure to wear a mask in a store may result in a fine of up to PLN 500.
