The offer is addressed to students of: I Liceum Ogólnokształcącego, II Liceum Ogólnokształcącego, III Liceum Ogólnokształcącego at Zespół Szkół Ogólnokształcących i Zawodowych, IV Liceum Ogólnokształcącego at Zespół Szkół Elektronicznych, and Powiatowego Gimnazjum Specjalnego at Powiatowy Zespół Szkół i Placówek Specjalnych. The project aims to equalize educational opportunities.
Free extracurricular activities—approximately 10,000 hours—will be held from October this year until June 2011. The county secured nearly PLN 2.1 million for this purpose. The “SOS – Schools of Open Opportunities” project includes, among other things, activities at theaters, museums, computer labs and swimming pools.
Students interested in participating in the project should submit a participation declaration to the secretariat of their school. The application form is available from the School Project Leaders. It can also be downloaded from the Bolesławiec County website or obtained from the Project Office, 1 Piłsudskiego Square (high-rise building), 7th floor, rooms 706 or 710.
Admission to the project will be determined by the student’s achievements in the last semester; whether he or she lives in a rural area; any disability; and the order in which applications are submitted.
