According to the police’s preliminary findings, the driver of a Volvo truck, a resident of Bolesławiec County aged approximately 36, failed to yield to a man who was crossing the pedestrian crossing while wheeling a bicycle.
The collision occurred, as a result of which the approximately 40-year-old resident of Podlaskie Voivodeship suffered a head injury and was taken to hospital. His condition is serious. The truck driver was sober. Proceedings aimed at precisely determining the causes of the accident are being conducted under the supervision of a prosecutor.
