The incident occurred on road no. 94 (formerly no. 4) at the entrance to Zebrzydowa. The driver of a Renault truck with a trailer was travelling from the direction of Zgorzelec. On a bend in the wet road, the trailer skidded and hit the cab of an oncoming tanker truck. The man driving the tanker truck was taken to a hospital in Bolesławiec. His life is not in danger. The truck driver who caused the collision was fined PLN 400. The man failed to adjust his speed to the road conditions.
