“The problem arises when we do not know what to do with a larger quantity of bottle caps or where to take them,” says Councillor Damian Sawczak. “The idea for special bottle-cap containers was taken from other cities. I would like to carry it out in our beautiful city together with the residents of Bolesławiec. Let this be our joint project under the slogan ‘A Heart from the Residents of Bolesławiec.’ Together we can achieve more, and a joint fundraiser or funds from a potential sponsor will make it possible to accomplish this goal. We are raising money for two hearts, but who knows how the collection will develop—perhaps it will result in even more. If we raise the funds to purchase the heart-shaped containers, I will apply to the mayor for permission to place them in a selected location,” the councillor adds.
Many ideas have emerged for locations for heart-shaped bottle-cap containers: Bolesławiec Market Square, Piłsudski Square, and Bonin Park with its playground. Which location do you think is best?
