ANNOUNCEMENT ON COMMENCING THE INVENTORY OF PRODUCTS CONTAINING ASBESTOS, INCLUDING THOSE LOCATED ON BUILDINGS AND STORED ON PROPERTIES
The Mayor of Bolesławiec informs that as of 14 June 2020, an inventory of products containing asbestos found within the territory of the Bolesławiec urban municipality will begin. Conducting the inventory is necessary to prepare the document entitled “Programme for the Removal of Asbestos Products in the City of Bolesławiec” and to verify the quantity of asbestos products.
We inform you that the inventory is being conducted by authorised representatives of EKO-TEAM Sebastian Kulikowski from Zgorzelec. EKO-TEAM employees carry the original authorisation to conduct the inventory, signed by the Mayor of the City. They also have identification badges bearing their first and last names.
At the same time, we ask all residents to provide the surveyor with complete information and to make their properties available for a physical inventory. We remind you that, pursuant to § 10(1)(3) of the Regulation of the Minister of Economy, Labour and Social Policy of 13 December 2010 on requirements concerning the use and movement of asbestos and the use and cleaning of installations or equipment in which asbestos was or is used (Journal of Laws of 2011, No. 8, item 31), the owner is responsible for inventorying products containing asbestos by preparing a physical inventory.
HARMFULNESS OF ASBESTOS
ASBESTOS is considered one of the most dangerous pollutants on Earth, and its fibres, inhaled with the air into the lungs, pose a risk of serious diseases.
ATTENTION!!!
All asbestos products must be removed by 2032. Asbestos may be removed only by a specialised company, so as not to endanger your loved ones and neighbours.
