Officers from the County Police Headquarters in Bolesławiec organized a surprise for the youngest residents of the county on the occasion of Children’s Day. “The aim of the campaign was to conduct an unusual check-in with people staying in isolation. On their special day, children staying at home as part of quarantine, and others as well, were visited by Commissioner Lion,” says asp. szt. Anna Kublik-Rościszewska, press officer of the County Police Headquarters in Bolesławiec.

She adds:

The police mascot always brings smiles to the faces of the youngest children.

In addition, on the doorstep or fence, the policewomen left a sweet package containing a reminder to follow safety rules: a reusable children’s face mask. Despite the lifting of many restrictions, it will be useful in everyday situations, for example on the way to the store, to a church service or to the cinema.

The police officers say:

On the occasion of Children’s Day, we wish all children, both big and small, smiles and joy every day—and especially during this difficult time—LOTS OF HEALTH.
