On Monday, 18 May, Janina Walenciejczyk celebrated her 100th birthday. On this occasion, the neighbours of the honoured celebrant organised a surprise party. Mrs Janina made no secret of her surprise and joy.
The birthday celebrant came to Bolesławiec in 1947. She had six children. (Unfortunately, two have already passed away.) She also has nine grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. In the past, she looked after the children and ran the household. Mrs Janina’s favourite activity was dressmaking.
We wish Mrs Janina many more years of happiness and prosperity, as well as good health.
