The Association of the Unemployed of Bolesławiec County has operated alongside the OPZZ council in Bolesławiec for three years. This year, the association organized its fourth pre-Christmas gathering for unemployed people from the county.
One feature of the association’s pre-Christmas gatherings is special thanks for people who support the association and the unemployed themselves. At Thursday’s meeting, National Defence Minister Jerzy Szmajdziński was honored in this way. Similar thanks were also given to those who support the unemployed and events organized for them in various ways: entrepreneurs, sponsoring companies and institutions that, like the music school, make their premises available for meetings.
The unemployed attendees and invited guests exchanged holiday wishes and traditionally shared the Christmas wafer.
