The project includes, among other things, construction of Bazaltowa Street as a two-way shared pedestrian and vehicle route, and construction of Zabobrze Street as a two-way pedestrian and bicycle route.
The section of Zabobrze Street concerned runs from the end of the existing road’s bituminous surface by the bus terminus to the intersection with Bazaltowa Street. Construction of Bazaltowa Street costs PLN 153,915, while Zabobrze Street costs PLN 246,572. The contractor is a company from Radostów Dolny near Lubań.

Work is also currently under way on the construction of Kamienna Street as a two-way shared pedestrian and vehicle route. The cost of the works is PLN 154,500.
The contractor is a company from Brzeźnik near Bolesławiec. The City Hall says: “For Bazaltowa Street, Kamienna Street and Zabobrze Street, the works are scheduled for completion by the end of August 2020.”
It is worth adding that between 2012 and 2019, drainage and lighting were installed on the roads in the area covered by the investment. The City’s budget allocated PLN 647,910 for this purpose.
