A scan of a letter from Roberta Relicha, the mayor of Nowogrodziec, was published on the website of the kindergarten in Nowogrodziec. The document reads:
Dear Parents and Guardians!
The Mayor of Nowogrodziec and the Director of the Public Kindergarten in Nowogrodziec are considering the possibility of opening the Kindergarten from 25 May 2020 for children of working parents who cannot reconcile work with childcare. If extraordinary circumstances arise that guarantee safe care, it will be possible to bring forward the opening date of the Kindergarten.
First, the facility will be available to children of employees of the healthcare system, uniformed services, trade and manufacturing companies who are carrying out tasks related to the prevention, counteraction and combating of COVID-19.
Parents who meet the above criteria and wish to send their child to the Kindergarten are asked to contact 75 731 63 35 between 8:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m. by 8 May 2020 in order to undergo further eligibility verification.
The Kindergarten’s operations will be based on the anti-epidemic guidelines of the Chief Sanitary Inspector dated 30 April 2020, and of the Minister of Health and the Minister of National Education: https://www.gov.pl/web/edukacja/wytyczne-dla-przedszkoli.
A condition for opening the Kindergarten will be meeting all safety requirements. Therefore, due to the limited number of places, we appeal only to those parents who absolutely must return to work to apply.
